We’ll be taking over downtown Haverhill! The parade lines up at GAR park, heads down Main Street, turns onto Merrimack St., and marches all the way down to Washington St., through downtown, ending on Railroad Square.

Yes! This year in addition to all of the wonderful restaurants in downtown, we will have a Food and Beer garden located in Riverfront Park.

Yes! The parade is an all-ages event! Most events throughout the day welcome all ages with the exception of our after party at Skyline Social.

We will have trained Peacekeepers with the parade and throughout the event. Click here to learn more about Peacekeepers. There will be EMS and the fire department onsite during all events. Due to city requirements, we are also working with Haverhill Police Department’s LGBTQ+ Liaison Unit to provide officers for the event.

Leashed, well-behaved pets are welcome in all public, outdoor areas (and encouraged to dress up!).

The parade route is .7 mile long and will take place in the street as part of a moving parade. The parade route is ADA compliant with paved sidewalks, where spectators are invited to watch. Most public seating areas are in Washington Square. There are restrooms available at the start of the parade in City Hall, accessible by stairs or elevator access, and porta-potties will be located at the end of the route and near our Food/Beer garden.

Chairs are permitted along the route. Setting up and leaving chairs unattended is at your own risk.

There are restrooms available at the start of the parade in City Hall and portable restrooms will be located at the end of the route as well as in our Food/Beer Garden in Riverfront Park. For exact locations please see our Pride Celebration map (coming soon!)

Cooling/ Water stations: We will have tented areas located next to Creative Haverhill (43 Washinton St.), which include a water station. Water stations will also be available in our Food/Beer Garden
Quiet Zone: Head to Wicked Big Cafe (19 Essex St, Haverhill, MA 01832), for a reprieve from the hustle and bustle.
Transportation

There will be parking at the start of the parade at City Hall, some street parking (free on Bailey Boulevard and Ginty Boulevard), and paid parking in Haverhill’s new parking garage with an entrance on 86 Merrimack St.

The Bradford Station on the commuter rail is the only operating station for the commuter rail at this time. Please see the MBTA website for more information and schedules. Amtrak stops at the Haverhill Station. Please see the Amtrak website for more information and schedules.
